Back on the Alaska Highway heading south
Yukon River
Marsh Lake
Fascinated with the cloud formations
Each day seems to offer additional beauty
Look at those rounded mountains - grinded off from
Glaciers years before
Turning North toward Johnson's Corner
South to Teslin
Alaska Pipeline
Snow still in the mountain tops and it's the middle of July
Teslin Lake
Bridge over Teslin Lake ( Nisutlin Bay)
Fireweed
We dip into British Columbia then back into the Yukon
Rancheria Area
Finally.. Watson Lake Provincial Campground
4 miles into park on a dusty, gravel, washboard road
after 290 miles and six hours driving Karen had had it!
Not only that--KILLER mosquitos
Really, REALLY, thick woods
The space was so narrow, I caught weeds in the bay door
not only that, who was outside directing "Dora" into this
narrow, MOSQUITO INFESTED, thick woods!!!
Tomorrow we put up our sign in the SIGN FOREST at Watson Lake
