GREAT FALLS, MONTANA MAY 30, 31

Arrived in Great Falls and staying at Dick's RV Park--electric, water, sewer, wifi--Oh boy!
A little luxury--Karen's happy. Raining and cold.  Staying 3 days, "Boots" getting new tires(had to order). Yesterday,we went to the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center, learned about their exploration in 1805. As they traveled up the Missouri River, the expedition met the falls, here at Great Falls,--not one but five.  It took them a month to portage, 18 miles, around the falls.  Sacagawea joined the expedition, with her newborn son, as an interpreter and guide.  Around the Falls, traveled to the headwaters of the Missouri, across the Bitterroot Mountain range, to the Columbia River and finally to the Pacific Ocean.  The Expedition wintered there and retraced their trek back to St. Louis. This was a fascinating and informative visit.

So, here we sit, waiting for the Jeep to be done--rain, rain and more rain.

Tomorrow---Canada!
