southern Colorado--from dry, wind blown mountains to lush, green meadows and mountains with tall pines and hardwoods. What a difference in a hundred miles--still climbing, had to stop to cool down.
Durango--staying at local KOA--nice site. Went downtown to pick up tickets for tomorrows ride on the DURANGO & SILVERTON NARROW GAUGE RAILROAD to Silverton.
Finally COLORADO!
