Today, we traveled to ORILLA VERDE RECREATION AREA on the Rio Grande Gorge. Pulled in and got the last RV spot--water and electric for 8 bucks! It was a tough climb for The Beaver, she overheated and we had to pull over twice. Drove through Santa Fe, of course Southwestern architecture, Adobe homes and buildings. Orilla Verde camping site is about 20 miles up the Rio Grande gorge, winding and turning, following the river upstream.
