Rained and blew all night and morning, cleared a little in the afternoon, decided to get the bikes out for a ride. Tires were flat and the electric pump/jump starter had finally given up--wouldn't hold a charge.
Off to town we went, and bought a bicycle pump. Back at camp, between rain showers, I pumped up the
tires and we were off--almost. Down the road I went, pumping the pedals as fast as I could against
the wind--I looked back--No Karen! Left her behind, again!! Turned back and her back tire was flat--oh oh hole in the tube? Not these fine West Marine Port Runners. Examination found the rear valve stem was crooked and letting air out. Problem solved. Off we went for short turn around the campground and call it
quits. Had a nice dinner of Blue Bell ice cream. Watched the only 3 stations we could get.
Moving tomorrow to St. Joe State Park. Hope the weather clears.
