Evening fun started at 7PM with a Historic Walking Tour
ending at Diamond Tooth Gerties
Keno is the old passenger boat that traveled from Whitehorse
to Dawson. There were no roads!
Old BNA bank an historic site
This part of town is called Paradise Row
you know where the ladies mined their own Gold.
Ruby's Place
One of the oldest buildings in Dawson
The Sour Toe Cocktail originated here
Too many and you may try one on a dare!
Because of the Permafrost here, the streets are gravel,
and the buildings are built on piers or the ground
thaws and the building caves in like the one above
(note the supports holding it up)
Palace Grand Theater
Diamond Tooth Gerties
Still rocking today
Well there were CanCan girls - somebody got excited
Guess who put in 2 quarters and won 120!!!
All the same today as it was back then
Left about 11 PM
on our way back Buzz needed more boat pictures
And to see Jack London's house
This is where he wrote Call of The Wild
It's midnight and we're off to the RV
Tomorrow heading towards Whitehorse.
