Monday: Traveling to Talkeetna
Pass through a nice section of homes
Wasilla--yes where Sarah Palin lives
Stopped here to get the windshield repaired--nice, busy town
Lake Lucille think Sarah lives on this lake--didn't see her
Driving on the Parks Highway to Talkeetna and further to Denali
You got it--road construction
Wet muddy gravel---slow as you go
Wasilla is one of the prettiest towns in Alaska
Talkeetna--a stop for Alaska Railroad, taking cruise ship
passengers to Denali, Fairbanks, Anchorage, Seward
AND a stop for us!
Nagley Store--built in 1917 in Anchorage. Mr. Nagley took itapart, put it on a boat and reassembled it here--been going
ever since
