To get to the rest of Alaska, we have to travel north through British Columbia, then through the
Yukon. The day started in Haines, nice and warm, and as the day progressed it got cold and started to

Road construction - dirt,more dirt,water and throw on some gravel with tar!
Friends told us that this was the worst part of the Alaska Highway
Road bed built on permafrost, so we have fissures, potholes, and gravel
AND DID WE SAY MUD!
