On our way to Canada, the view is rolling prairies, large farms (mostly crops, some livestock),
oil wells and large grain elevators. The small towns are dwarfed by these huge buildings.

In 1942, the US Army Corp of Engineers built the Alaska Highway from Dawson Creek, BC to Fairbanks, Ak in 8 months.
We are now in the Pacific time zone
