On our way to Alaska!!! From Watson Lake, we drove west on the Alaska Highway to Teslin, Johnson's Corner, and Jake's Corner, where we turned toward Carcross, passing through Tagish and over Six Mile River. At Carcross, headed south to the USA and the State of Alaska.
just outside Watson Lake for 14 miles
The DUST!
Back to good pavement
The road dips into British Columbia several times and back to the Yukon
Sign says: Entering British Columbia

Quick glimpse on Teslin, situated right on the lake--very nice
Stopped at the Teslin Tlingit Heritage Center
Heading west to the Mountains
Every turn is more beautiful
Heading south after filling up at Carcross-- 1.49/liter about 5.66/ gal
Glad the road was open
Heading south and up to White Pass
Alaska on the other side

Our campsite at Garden City RV Park--
middle of town in the valley surrounded by snow capped mountains
Pretty dusty
Washed both when we got in--stays light to about 11:30pm. You can hear the Light aircraft taking off and landing closeby.
Drove about 320 miles today---going to put the Rig and Jeep on a boat to Haines---not trying White Pass any too soon!!!
Tomorrow we explore Skagway
We've traveled 5887.5 miles to get to Alaska
