waited for a motorhome to finish; met Sam and Mickey from Maine on their way to Alaska, too.

A 1,550 mile road through forests, mountains, over rivers in just 8 months time.
An engineering feat! Not to mention the mosquitos (big, we've seen um), the heat, the freezing cold (-70f) and the muskeg--a swamp-like bog that turns into mud.

Drove 348 miles--seemed like forever
Saw 7 Black Bears and 1 Grizzly Bear, 1 Moose, Big Horned Sheep, Caribou, and Buffalo
Dora and Boots pretty dirty, but their RV wash wasn't working.
Tomorrow: ALASKA!
