Monday: Going to EXIT GLACIER and Bear Lake Salmon weir...Hiking 3 miles...
EXIT GLACIER part of the Harding Icefields in the KENAI MOUNTAINS It received its name because it served as the exit for the first recorded crossing of the Harding Icefield in 1968.

Stopped by Bear Lake fish wier, where they are counting the Sockeye Salmon going up stream
Here they are seperating the male and females, injecting the females with antibiotics and tagging.
After recovery, the salmon swim up stream to spawn--some were turning red.
