WELLESLEY ISLAND AUGUST 19

We are at Fair Haven State Park,
heading east along Lake Ontario to
Wellesley Island and the Thousand Islands.
A vintage ice cream truck passed through the
 campground at dusk
Passing through Oswego, NY

Entrance to the Bridge to Wellesley Island
That's some slope
Up we go
Concentrating..high and narrow bridge
Over the St. Lawrence River

This bridge continues to Canada.
The State Park is on the northwest part of the island,
and we stayed for two nights.
We took a tour of the island.  At the western tip
of the island is the town of Thousand Islands Park.
A summer resort with old Victorian Homes all in a park
like setting, of course a very affluent area then and now.
The homes were very well taken care of.
Town Square..use only golf carts please.

Just outstanding..one after another.

Many Cottages on islands in the river
Look B..there's your freighter going by.
Rock Island Lighthouse

Thousand Island Grand Hotel

One of the boats from the Antique Boat Museum
went scooting by.
We then traveled to the east side of the island
And we came acrossed the

 Geese on the fairway

And to our surprise, Boldt Yacht House
 And Boldt Castle
