Drove around Lake Macatawa to the south pier
This is where in the late 1900's the Macatawa Hotel
stood, burned down, left vacant until Pointe West Resort
was built, purchased by Amway, torn down, and
now subdivided for expensive homes.
Lucky for us, this was one of the days they let people
walk to the lighthouse. Very few get to do this.
And the sidewalk goes right behind Grandma's house.
